Pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 18 November 2023, Program Studi Magister Matematika, Departemen Matematika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) menyelenggarakan Workshop Penulisan Tesis dan Artikel Ilmiah Bidang Matematika. Acara tersebut berlangsung di Auditorium Lt. 7 FMIPA UGM dan dihadiri oleh mahasiswa Prodi Magister Matematika angkatan tahun 2023. Workshop ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang teknik penulisan tesis dan artikel ilmiah di bidang matematika, serta memberikan wawasan tentang tren terbaru dalam penelitian matematika.
Acara dibuka dengan sambutan dari Ketua Program Studi Magister Matematika, Prof. Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.U., yang memberikan pengantar mengenai pentingnya penulisan tesis dan artikel ilmiah dalam pengembangan ilmu matematika.
Acara tersebut dipandu dengan baik oleh pembawa acara, Dr. Indarsih, M.Si., sementara diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab dimeriahkan oleh kehadiran moderator, Tekla Unik Kartika dan Aisyah Nooravieta Setiawan. Peserta workshop, yaitu mahasiswa Prodi Magister Matematika angkatan tahun 2023, sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Mereka aktif bertanya dan berdiskusi, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pertukaran ide dan pengetahuan.
Nara sumber pertama, Prof. Dr. Salmah, M.Si., menyampaikan materi tentang Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah di Bidang Matematika. Beliau memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang struktur artikel ilmiah, teknik penyusunan, dan strategi untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian.
Nara sumber kedua, Prof. Imam Solekhudin, M.Sc., Ph.D., membahas topik Penulisan Tesis di Bidang Matematika. Dalam presentasinya, beliau menyampaikan panduan langkah demi langkah dalam menulis tesis, memilih topik penelitian yang relevan, dan strategi untuk berhasil menyelesaikan tesis.
Workshop ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dorongan positif bagi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tesis mereka dan meningkatkan keterampilan penulisan ilmiah di bidang matematika. Semangat dan antusiasme para peserta mencerminkan keberhasilan acara tersebut sebagai wadah pembelajaran dan pengembangan diri di bidang akademis.

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the Master’s Program in Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), organized a Workshop on Thesis and Scientific Article Writing in the field of Mathematics. The event took place at the 7th-floor Auditorium of FMIPA UGM and was attended by students of the Master’s Program in Mathematics from the 2023 cohort. The workshop aimed to provide a deeper understanding of thesis and scientific article writing techniques in the field of mathematics, as well as insights into the latest trends in mathematical research.
The event began with a welcoming address from the Head of the Master’s Program in Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.U., who introduced the importance of thesis and scientific article writing in the development of mathematical sciences.
The event was well facilitated by the host, Dr. Indarsih, M.Si., while discussions and Q&A sessions were enlivened by the presence of moderators Tekla Unik Kartika and Aisyah Nooravieta Setiawan. Participants of the workshop, the Master’s Program in Mathematics students from the 2023 cohort, showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. They actively participated in asking questions and engaging in discussions, creating a conducive environment for the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The first speaker, Prof. Dr. Salmah, M.Si., presented material on Writing Scientific Articles in the Field of Mathematics. She provided profound insights into the structure of scientific articles, writing techniques, and strategies for publishing research findings.
The second speaker, Prof. Imam Solekhudin, M.Sc., Ph.D., discussed the topic of Thesis Writing in the Field of Mathematics. In his presentation, he conveyed step-by-step guidance on writing a thesis, selecting relevant research topics, and strategies for successfully completing a thesis.
The workshop is expected to provide a positive boost for students in completing their theses and enhancing their scientific writing skills in the field of mathematics. The spirit and enthusiasm of the participants reflect the success of the event as a platform for learning and self-development in the academic field.

Melengkapi informasi pada laman ini , berikut beberapa hal terbaru yang bisa kami sampaikan:
1. Ujian Tesis I dan Tesis II dilaksanakan secara luring.
a. Persyaratan ujian Tesis bisa dilihat di sini
Persyaratan Ujian dan Berkas Tesis I atau II disimpan dalam format .pdf dalam softfile terpisah. Hardcopy tidak perlu dikirimkan ke Prodi (kecuali ada tim penguji Tesis yang menghendaki hardcopy).
b. Mahasiswa melakukan pendaftaran ujian Tesis secara online melalui tautan berikut: Pendaftaran Tesis. Kemudian silakan konfirmasi ke Admin Prodi melalui Whatsapp Admin Prodi (Wira: 08562951413).
2. Perkuliahan di hari libur nasional diganti di hari Sabtu, apabila ada perubahan akan dibicarakan Dosen dan mahasiswa di kelas.
3. Mahasiswa yang mengajukan Ujian Tesis I / Tesis II silakan mendaftarkan Pengajuan Tugas Akhir melalui Simaster Akademik
4. Berkaitan dengan tanda tangan Dosen Pembimbing dan Tim Penguji Tesis II pada Lembar Pengesahan Tesis, silakan mahasiswa menyiapkan Lembar Pengesahan Tesis tersebut (sebanyak 2 lembar) dan menyerahkannya ke Admin Prodi Magister Matematika sebelum pelaksanaan Ujian Tesis II dimulai.
5. Apabila ada perubahan kebijakan akan disampaikan kembali (melihat kondisi dan situasi terkini).

To complement the information on this page, here are some of the latest updates we can provide:
- Thesis Examinations I and II are conducted offline.
a. The requirements for the Thesis examination can be found here: Requirements for Thesis Examination I or II are to be stored in .pdf format as separate soft files. Hard copies do not need to be sent to the Program (unless a Thesis examination committee member requests a hard copy). b. Students must register for the Thesis examination online through the following link: Thesis Registration. Then, please confirm with the Program Admin via WhatsApp (Wira: 08562951413).
- Lectures scheduled on national holidays will be rescheduled to Saturdays. Any changes will be discussed by the lecturers and students in class.
- Students applying for Thesis Examination I / II should register their Final Project through the Academic Simaster.
- Regarding the signatures of the Thesis Supervisor and the Thesis II Examination Committee on the Thesis Approval Sheet, students are required to prepare the Thesis Approval Sheet (two copies) and submit them to the Admin of the Master’s Program in Mathematics before the start of Thesis Examination II.
- Should there be any policy changes, further information will be provided (considering the current conditions and situations).

Dalam rangka meningkatkan jumlah publikasi ilmiah bagi mahasiswa S1/S2/S3 di Departemen Matematika, berikut ini kami sampaikan Form Bantuan Seminar (untuk mahasiswa S1/S2/S3), Fee Publikasi (untuk mahasiswa S2/S3). Adapun kuota sebagai berikut:
S1: 10 mahasiswa (maks 1 juta/mahasiswa/tahun, first come first served)
S2: 30 mahasiswa (maks 2,5 juta/mahasiswa/tahun) S3: semua mahasiswa (maks 4 juta/mahasiswa/tahun)

In order to increase the number of scientific publications for S1/S2/S3 students in the Mathematics Department, we hereby provide the Seminar Assistance Form (for S1/S2/S3 students) and Publication Fee (for S2/S3 students). The quotas are as follows:
S1: 10 students (maximum 1 million/student/year, first come first served)
S2: 30 students (maximum 2.5 million/student/year) S3: all students (maximum 4 million/student/year)
